DesTEENazione – Desideri in Azione | Spazio LUMO

DesTEENazione – Desideri in Azione creates a dynamic educational ecosystem at the Spazio LUMO in Afragola for adolescents, families, and young care leavers in the N19 Area. The project involves Afragola, Caivano, Cardito, and Crispano, areas marked by educational poverty, school dropout, family vulnerability, and the need for positive places to gather.

A living space for adolescents and communities

The Spazio LUMO is not just an activity center: it is a place of experience, listening, creativity, and youth leadership. The kids become an active part of the process through workshops, educational agreements, mentoring, GET-UP projects, digital activities, and psychological support.

Lines of intervention

• Line 2: aggregation, socio-educational support, and street education;
• Line 3: prevention of dropping out of school and job training;
• Line 4: parental support and speaking groups;
• Line 5: adolescent psychology and emotional intelligence;
• Line 6: inclusion and autonomy internships.

Innovations

The project introduces the LUMO Digital Hub, Personal Learning Agreement, Mentorship Network, and the N19 Micro-Territorial Observatory for Adolescence. The educational dimension is combined with neuroscience, emotional intelligence, and experiential learning.
