Insieme was founded in Salerno by professionals and volunteers working in childcare, childhood, adolescence, and family support. The network operates through educational services, a Family Center, the "La Casa di Kirikù" residential community, the Karabà Summer Center, and projects for emotional and social growth.
The Insieme Società Cooperativa Sociale was founded on December 28, 2009, from a meeting of volunteers, members, and professionals who, in various capacities, shared the goal of creating care and well-being programs for those in need, drawing on the expertise acquired over the years through experience managing residential communities and personal care services.
